Day 1~
This is my last city that I have travelled to for my family vacation, My family chose to end in Vancouver because our grandparents live there so we can stay at there house while there on their crouse. The first thing that we booked to due was the ''Vancouver North Shore Day Trip With Capilano Suspension Bridge and Grouse Mountain'' this day trip is half a day long. The tour departed from downtown Vancouver hotels, and we came back to our original departure point at 5:00pm. Some highlights about the tour are seeing views over Vancouver harbor from Lions Gate bridge, taking the grouse Mountain skyride to the chalet on top of the mountain the tour guide people said it's about 1,200 meters (3,700 feet) abouve the city, visiting the trading post it's one of the best gift shops in the city, and seeing native indian totem pole carvers at work. We also got to cross the Capilano Suspension bridge which is the world's largest suspension foobridge and I also got to watch some of the grizzly bears at the refuge for endangered Wildlife. After spending the whole day on the tour we started to drive back to my grandparents house (and hour drive away from the departure point) but on the way home we went to the grocery store to buy some food to make a nice home cooked meal. My momma made chicken and rice. After my yummy dinner it was already 9:00pm so me and my sister headed out for bed.
Day 2~
It's now day two (my last day) in Vancouver and my dad suprised us by taking my mom, sister and I on a kayaking trip. The buses depart from Vancouver hotels and the departure time is 9:00am and the kayaking trip is approximaly 7 hours long and we arrived back at the to the original departure point around 4-5:00pm. While we were kayaking we seen seal lions, and the sore lines covered with barnacles, mussels and crabs, seal lions. But the harbour seals often kept on poping there heads up once in a while. We stoped for lunch at a small uninhabited island with great views of the inlet, sense it was a beautiful sunny day all of us took a small swim. After lunch we walked through the woods before we started kayaking again and returned back. The qualified and knowledgeable guides helped us spot out some of the wildlife around us that we could not see (example: whales, seals, rare birds). Once we got back to the city the guide seeing helpers arranged a 3-course gourmet beach barbecue. The barbecue was very fun and yummy, once it started to get a little late we headed back to my grandparents house to pack and to start driving home. And oh ya it's going to be a long way back home !
